Our Story

Mr. S was an Idaho boy; raised to work hard. He enjoys working with his hands and giving new life to old things. He is an engineer, but would have loved to have been a dentist, just so he could work with his hands everyday making a difference. Alas, he chose the engineering route which is very fitting for him and the way he thinks. With whatever spare time he has, he refinishes furniture and works on home renovations/repairs.

Steph has a love for making a house feel like a home. She doesn't even mind cleaning because of the relaxing and peaceful feeling it brings into the home. She has a love for photography and is usually the one behind the camera bringing you the before and afters. Steph enjoys sewing, decorating, and any sort of awesome DIY that can save a buck. In fact, she and her sister Megan share a popular DIY blog called DoItYourselfDivas. This is where she and Megan show you all their nifty tricks to make a house a home.

Mr. S and Steph met at BYU-Idaho in a guitar class, though neither of them can play the guitar today. They obviously were preoccupied during that class... They got married, moved to Utah, finished some schooling, and today they have three beautiful children which keep them very busy. They are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Mr. S and Steph truly enjoy working together and love to bring a breath of fresh air into old or used things.
